The Cat Picks the NFL Playoffs – Divisional Round

The Tush Push got smushed, the Fish got squished and the Cowgirls spit the bit again. What that means for you, Dear Bettor, is that Torrey the Prediction Cat went 1-1 in teaser picks, 2-2 over all. He hit with the Bills and the OVER in his opening pick, while Dallas went down in flames, (hey, at least there were flames), and Miami sputtered on offense.

Undaunted by the flat start, Torrey reloads for the Divisional round. Remember that 1) we use lines from www.vegasinsider.com; 2) we do teasers, so we get to move the line six points in our favor in either direction; and 3) we have to hit both to win. Any ties are a push, unless, of course, we lose the other side of the pick.

Here are this weeks winners before they happen. And remember, a cat is taking your bookie to the cleaners!

HOME COOKIN!

BILLS +3.5 vs. chiefs

49ERS -4 vs. PACKERS

Last year was the first time in eons that home field in the Divisional round was pretty much meaningless. Torrey looks at that as a happenstance, not a trend. BILLS-chiefs is always close and entertaining. Though KC may pull it out, but either way the score goes, it’ll be a nail-biter, not a laugher. Take the Bills to cover. The 49ers are dominant on both sides of the ball against a plucky, upstart Packers, but the Niners are not the Cowpokes; they are, instead surging and rising.

GREEN LIGHT!

buccaneers + 12 at LIONS

BILLS-chiefs OVER 40

A great season for the Lions may get derailed by a suddenly strong Bucs team that  manhandled the talented, but nosediving Eagles. That defense should keep Tampa in the game all day against a Lions team that may still be a piece or two away from a serious championship contender. As for BILLS-chiefs, even with a blizzard, Mahomes and Allen can light up the scoreboard like it’s a track meet.

TORREY THE PREDICTION CAT STANDS AT EVEN MONEY AFTER WILD CARD WEEKEND: 2-2 OVERALL AND 1-1 IN TEASERS
