NBC Report: Woods Dr. Galea to Enter Plea in Drug and PED Charges

Hat tip to Ryan Ballengee for catching this story about HGH Doctor Henry Galea of the “blood spinning technique” entering into a plea deal. Galea, a known commodity among PED and steroid cheats, treated Woods with mysterious knee injection treatments which PGA Tour Commissioner Timid Tim Finchem refuses to investigate.

From the article:

Woods has said Galea administered a “blood spinning” tactic in 2009 to help speed up his recuperation from ACL reconstruction surgery after the 2008 U.S. Open. Woods has denied on multiple occasions – including at the ’09 and ’10 Masters – that he did not receive any injections of performance-enhancing drugs as part of his treatment with Galea.

Galea said Woods’ representation at IMG recommended the doctor for treatment. Woods said at the 2010 Masters that a physical therapist recommended Galea when his recovery and rehab for knee surgery were going slowly.”

Good catch, Ryan.

Also don’t forget the mysterious BALCO trainer Keith Kleven who also was working with Woods for a time. He’s been notoriously silent since the stories of Woods’s involvement with people even shadier than hookers, porn stars, and strippers broke 18 months ago…
