Let’s sop up the weekend’s golf news au jus, shall we?
First, Steve Elling of CBSSports.com reports that Arjun Atwal’s on-again-off-again prosecution for speedracing is finally derailed. Atwal will not be charged in connection with the death of another motorist with whom he was drag racing.
Next, Elling calls out John Daly for boorish behavior in the Hooters tent this week during the dreadfully named “PODS Championship.” I’m sure Tim Finchem loved having to tear himself away form his latest turkey of a co-branding platform to examine photos of Daly signing girls’ bottoms in a PGA TOUR sanctioned Hooters Beer Tent.
Finally, it looks like corn on the cob and Iowa pork and beef at Masters dinner this year.
