Tony Korologos Makes the Coolest Par in Road Hole History!

It may not be the greatest or most historic, but it’s definitely the coolest, most unlikely, and most memorable par in Road Hole history. Tony Korologos, the Media Guru, chief mucky-muck of the Golf Space, and AWITP contributor, made four on the 17th at The Old Course at St. Andrews in style. After sniping one off the Old Course Hotel observatory with a resounding crack, he drilled one down the middle of the fairway…

…if I were there, I’d have jibed, “That guy that plays after you is terrific…”

Then he promptly holed out his hybrid approach for a par!! Unbelievable! Way to go, Tony. It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

Here’s Tony’s first hand account – a blow-by-blow review of not only that amazing par, but the birdie at 18 that gave him a sparkling 77, one of the greatest days of golf a player could ever have. He’s also now forever memorialized by none other than Andy Brown of Old Course TV. Tony, Old Tom is smiling down on you right now saying “Echh! Yargh gonnichh kine rullagh toon sholla!” Which, roughly translated, means, “Great job, Dude! You rock!”

Tony Korologos – terrific golfer, even better human being, world-class friend. Thanks for yet another memory. I’m so glad to have you in my life. Welcome, yet again, to the Honor Roll. And of course, and this goes without saying…That’s Reedonkyoulous!

Also, how about a new Jazzy Award category – Shot of the Year?!
