Ski Season Preview Part 1 – Erik Mogensen Indy Pass, Vinny Accardi of Hell’s Kitchen

BLACK MOUNTAIN IN NEW HAMPSHIRE IS INDY PASS RUN AGAIN THIS YEAR

It’s been an busy last week here at JF.com, Golf News Net, the North American Snowsports Journalists Association, and Jay Flemma Sports Report. We’ll also have the close of the golf season to discuss and write about. So strap in – golf may be in silly season, but with winter storming around the USA early, we will be rapid fire with stories and coverage.

Let’s kick off the ski season with Indy Pass and their CEO Erik Mogensen. Indy Pass is by far the most affordable pass and it also has without question the most coverage on the planet. Erik discussed the seventy-plus new resorts added on three different continents. Skiers and boarders are now sending it in such far flung places as Turkey, Scandinavia, Japan, and Chile. Erik’s interview is here.

Next, it’s been a long time since we shined our pop culture light on the best cooking show on the airwaves – Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, but Season 8 superstar Vinny Accardi stopped by for a laugh-a-minute romp through the ups and downs of one of the most chaotic seasons of an already wild show. Season 8 also still holds the honor of being the greatest Finals upset in the show’s illustrious run, with “Mother Hen” Nona besting “Top Dog Russell. Unlike the superficial regurgitation of the obvious and endless episode recaps you find on YouTube, Vinny and I went deep dive into behind the scenes chicanery as well as nuts and bolts breakdowns of how the show actually works. And oh did Vinny and his Blue Team get into misadventures! Vinny’s interview segments are here. And the word is out Giovanni from Seasons 5 and 17, the Italians have spoken – you’re the paesano everyone wants to hear from next!
