INDY PASS ADDS PREMIER INTERNATIONAL RESORTS – PASS SALES RESUME TODAY
SkiWelt, Austria; Big White, BC; and Kiroro, Japan, join Montana Snowbowl to lead the 23/24 class of new resorts totaling 183 worldwide.
Grand County, CO. (October 10, 2023) – The Indy Pass announced today that 54 new partner resorts (see below) have signed on for the 23/24 season, including some of the biggest in Europe, Japan, and Western Canada, and dozens of independent Alpine and Nordic resorts across North America.
SkiWelt, the largest resort in Austria with 88 lifts, paves the way for European resorts seeking to tap into Indy’s passionate passholders. Similarly, Kiroro Resort in Northernmost Hokkaido, Japan, and Big White in British Columbia, both major destination resorts in their respective countries, have joined the alliance, now numbering 183 resorts worldwide.
Along with these notable international destinations, Indy Pass has added 30 total Alpine resorts, including Montana Snowbowl, and 24 cross-country resorts, including Whistler Olympic Village, British Columbia, and Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont.

Pass Sales Resume Today
After pausing sales last Spring due to unprecedented demand, Indy Pass has released a limited number of passes for purchase. Permission codes started going out today to people on the waitlist. Permission codes are being sent out in the order of sign-up, and the waitlist remains open. The only way to purchase an Indy Pass is by joining the waitlist and receiving a permission code as space opens up.
Blackout Days Reduced
As a percentage, blackout dates have been reduced for the upcoming season. A limited number of resorts will blackout some combination of Christmas, MLK, and Presidents weekends and peak Saturdays and Sundays.
Vermont has no blackout days, as Jay Peak, Bolton Valley, Saskadena Six, and Magic Mountain will all forgo blackouts this year. Black Mountain New Hampshire, Black Mountain of Maine, Saddleback, and Big Rock Mountain, Maine, will also be blackout-free, cementing the Indy Pass as a genuine alternative to the mega passes in New England and beyond.
