Woods gets Traffic Citation only, no other charges, case closed

Tiger Woods will have to pay around $164 and lose up to four points on his license for a “careless driving ticket,” but will not face any further penalty from Florida Police after his 2 a.m. crash Thanksgiving night. According to sources, FHP Major Cindy Williams said no criminal charges would be filed against Woods and the investigation was being closed.

“After reviewing the evidence available to us and (consulting with the state attorney) it was determined there was insufficient evidence to obtain any additional medical evidence that might exist in this case. “There are no claims of domestic evidence by any individual.”

She said the FHP would make no more comment or hold further press conference.
