Jaimee Grubbs Claims Affair with Tiger Woods, Airs Sexy Texts

Both the New York Post and New York Daily News have published stories alleging that waitress and reality TV contestant Jaimee Grubbs has admitted to a steamy affair with Tiger Woods, this revelation on the heels of Woods’s alleged trysts with event planner Rachel Uchitel and his mysterious car crash of Thanksgiving night.

The Post ran text messages allegedly from Woods to Grubbs during their alleged affair in 2007. From the article:

She told the magazine that she had 20 sexual encounters with Tiger and has photos, more than 300 racy texts and a voicemail from Nov. 24. In the voicemail, Tiger is said to suggest that his wife might know about the alleged affair.

“I will wear you out … when was the last time you got (word deleted)?” one message read, according to Radaronline. Another one read, “Send me something very naughty…Go to the bathroom and take (a picture).”

Both are referencing RadarOnline.com and US Weekly stories. Times on-line reports a third woman may come forward as well. From the article:

Tiger Woods was braced for new trouble tonight amid reports that at least two women are set to go public with claims that they had affairs with the world’s highest-earning sportsman.

RadarOnline.com a celebrity news website, reported that several women had come forward claiming to have had sex with the billion-dollar golfer, including one who purports to have “explosive” answerphone recordings.”

Still, some are skeptical of believing the claims of a reality TV contestant. “She seems like an attention seeker,” said one golf fan who spoke on condition of anonymity. “Where is the proof?” he asked rhetorically.

Also, the San Francisco Chronicle had this to say about Grubbs:

The question is, why wait until now to come forward? Did she want “hush money” from Tiger Woods and he refused? If so, and that’s a question someone should ask, it doesn’t make her look good at all. Coming forward in this way says nothing good about the character of Jaimee Grubbs.”

Finally, seminal journalist Mike Lupica writes that Woods needs to address these issues sooner rather than later:

“You always imagine these stars in a room full of crisis managers and it never occurs to any of them to say this to the client:

“How about telling the truth?”

These allegations come in stark contrast to the almost defiant tone Woods took in his laconic statement on his website. He wrote:

Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible. ”

The PGA Tour has been silent on the issue.
