Week 7 NFL Picks

Last week’s 2-1 in teasers and 4-1-1 overall was a good start to the year. I even managed a draw with the Rams and keep the streak of never losing a bet when I get 20 points alive. The Steelers should have blown out Jacksonville and, instead, were victims of an easy cover, giving the Jags 19.5. And as usual, the Pats were an ATM for me.

This week’s picks:

LATE NIGHT PARTY

Ravens -1.5 at JAGUARS
SAINTS -7 vs. Colts

The Ravens are the class of the AFC North this year and possible AFC Champion. They’ll do what the Steelers should have done last week…blown the Jags out. The Colts are lost without Peyton Manning.

Packers -1 vs. Vikings
RAIDERS +2.5 vs. Chiefs

The Raiders were for real this year, until Jason Campbell broke his collarbone. I’m not sold on Carson Palmer as he tends to throw picks, but we’ll see. At least the Raiders are winning again…That’s what happens when someone other than Al Davis is pulling the strings. The Vikings are pathetic and face the red-hot World Champs, winners of 12 straight.

AFC Special

Texans +9 at TITANS
JETS + 8 vs Chargers

Houston is much improved. The Fighting Norvs are paper mache against a team with grit like the Jets, and eight points is a big bonus.
