Jazz the Cat went 2-1 in teasers last week, 5-1 overall, raising the season stats to 11-13 in teasers, 31-17 overall.
This week, meet the world’s smartest cat, Barstow. Owned by uber-whiz-kid wunderkind Ian Clarke, Barstow has impressive sense of time. In the pic above he knows it’s 2:58 p.m. and in two minutes the feeder will release the last food of the day, so he’s getting the jump on the other cats in the household.
He’s so smart there’s actually a poem written about him. I can’t remember it all, but my favorite quatrain goes:
…It’s Baker and Barstow, cats extraordinaire,
a crime-fighting duo beyond all compare
a beacon of freedom, a light in the dark
the super-smart pets of our friend Ian Clarke…
Anyway, Barstow is going to get us over .500 for the first time this season! Here goes:
