Several stars of screen and TV will join the Team Challenge All-star athletes on the Eagle Falls Golf Course at Fantasy Springs Resort as part of the tournament’s pro-am, held on Friday June 6.
Gregory Itzin and Dennis Haysbert of the ABC drama “24” will play, as well as attend the star-studded pairings party Friday night. Fans will also remember Haybert as the gravelly-voiced cop in such films/shows as “The Thirteenth Floor” and “The Unit.” He’s also the voice of Allstate Insurance.
Golfers will remember Joel Gretsch as Bobby Jones from “The Legend of Bagger Vance” and Tom Gates from “National Treasure: Book of Secrets.” Actor-comedian Flex Alexander will also play. He starred in such hits as from “Snakes on a Plane,” “The Hills Have Eyes II,” and “Homeboys from Outer Space.” Finally, Kevin Sorbo from “Hercules,” “Meet the Spartans,” and “Andromeda” has agreed to appear.
