WEBB AND BUBBA LEAD OFF FOR THE U.S. IN THE GLENEAGLES RYDER CUP
WEBB AND BUBBA LEAD OFF FOR THE U.S. IN THE GLENEAGLES RYDER CUP

Here they are – the Friday Fourball pairings, (all times EST).

2:35 a.m.: Webb Simpson and Bubba Watson vs. Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson

2:50 a.m.: Rickie Fowler and Jimmy Walker vs. Thomas Bjorn and Martin Kaymer

3:05 a.m.: Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed vs. Stephen Gallacher and Ian Poulter

3:20 a.m.: Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson vs. Sergio Garcia and Rory McIlroy

Simpson and Bubba should be mild underdogs in their match against Rose and Stenson. Rickie and Jimmy? Didn’t see that one coming. Bjorn scares no one, but Kaymer on the other hand…he tore through Pinehurst like Godzilla through Tokyo. Sending out the rookies together in best ball is a better idea then together in fourball. For Gallacher, see Thomas Bjorn above. What will Poulter have for us? A hot putter? He better. Well Phil and Keegan will get their chance to run with the big dogs. Look for Rory to Roar early.

Projected score: Europe 2-1/2 USA 1-1/2

Note: Vegasinsider.com picked Europe to win 19.5 – 8.5. The odds for Europe are 5/9, for the U.S. 3/2. A tie is 15-1.
