Open Championship Coverage all Next Week Here, at Golf News Net and iHeartRadio

ROYAL LIVERPOOL HOSTS ITS 13TH OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP STARTING NEXT WEEK.

Open Championship week begins imminently, so don’t put those strawberries and cream away. It’ll be early morning golf on the shores of Royal Liverpool, where some of the greatest names in golf were crowned de facto World Champion. Bobby Jones, Walter Hagen, Peter Thomson, Roberto DiVicenzo, Tiger Woods, and Rory McIlroy all hoisted the Claret Jug at Hoylake, (as the golf course is known to its friends).

We’ll have game stories all four days, as well as plenty of info on the golf course, the experience, and the players thoughts on the proposed PGA-LIV reunion. We’ll also have some radio on tap for you as well – with guests ranging from our usual Tour pros like Brian Keogh and Ryan Ballengee to a surprise guest but a welcome one – superstar extreme skier Dan Egan and author Eric Wilbur talking about Dan’s biography detailing his “30 Years in a White Haze,” and shining a light on the coming ski season as well as tips on how to raise you skiing and boarding game. Better still, there should be some comedy as stories widely disagree as to how good – or not – a golfer Dan is.

So get ready for Pimm’s Cups, Beatles songs, Bird’s Custard, Piccalilli, and all things English. And get ready for riveted bunkers, seaside fairways, and wind (we hope). It’s Open Championship week, our game’s oldest and greatest tournament.
