Flippin’ Amtrak lost my alligator and American eagle during my trip up north…either that or some little girl has a couple new hand puppets, but I had to get replacements for my 3 and 5-woods.
So I went with the tufted puffin and the bull. The tufted puffin has always been a favorite since I visited Bandon Dunes. I gave the old one to Britt for her bag because she loves Penguins, (and tufted puffins are close enough for jazz…just ask Opus from Bloom County, who was most certainly more tufted puffin than penguin:). Of course the puffin is now named Bandon.
The bull was a strange call. Daphne’s is just finishing a new batch of designs ready to launch, so my options were slightly more limited than usual, but since she’s my only stop for head covers, I had no problem going with a long shot. Besides, Britt likes Bulls too.
The bull will be named Titleist, partly because it’s such a laughably ridiculous name for a bull, and partly in honor of the real Titleist the bull at Bulls Bay in S.C.
