Lederach Review up at Cybergolf and a rating clarification

Quick memo from the sports desk today:

1. My Lederach Review is up at Cybergolf. One clarification…for all you newbies, my scores for “Excitement” and “Difficulty” are on a scale of TWELVE. However the star system for all other categories is out of SEVEN. So Lederach get 6 out of 7 for design, etc, but 8.5 out of 12 for difficulty. Everybody clear on that? The only categories rated on a twelve scale are difficulty and excitement. Everything else is the “seven star” system, named after the “Seven Sisters” stars I saw with Gary Wiseman of Bowling For Soup while we were on golf vacation last January.
2. Look for a new piece on Inwood Country Club and Philadelphia Cricket Club – two outstanding former U.S. Open venues soon, hopefully later today.

3. If I hear one more Yankee fan moan about how the bugs defeated them and not the Indians, I’m going to yak. Somebody who purports to be intelligent actually said this – “It’s a conspiracy! Did you see how the bugs attacked us more than the Indians? There should be an inquiry!”

There should be an inquiry – into that lunkhead’s sanity. OK, let me say this out loud so I have it straight in my head…you think some Indians’ execs said in the 8th inning “Release the gnats!” and that the bugs, as instructed attacked only Yankee players…

I’m right about that? That’s your story?

Rant over, as you were…
