TIM CLARK LOOKS SMALLER THAN NORMAL IN THE POT BUNKER GUARDING THE SIXTH GREEN

My first assignment as a correspondent with the Golf News Net will be a combination of just about everything I’ll be covering for the magazine. Besides wall-to-wall coverage of the 97th PGA Championship at Whistling Straits, we’ll be running 10K through the University of Wisconsin campus, visiting Wisconsin’s great outdoor music venue Alpine Valley for a Phish concert the night before the first practice round, and playing two of the great public golf courses of Wisconsin – Erin Hills, site of the 2017 U.S. Open and Lawsonia, one of the country’s great Golden Age marvels.

So get excited – rock-n-roll, adventure travel/fitness, great golf venues you can play, and all the inside golf coverage form on the ground at the American majors. It’s my first week as a Golf News Net reporter, and we’re covering all our bases in one action-packed week.
