Ernesto and I went 5-1 last week, 2-1 in teasers, which brings the season totals to 31-15 overall, 14-9 in teasers, which is pretty good considering Vegas insiders have been haranguing me all week saying, “I’ll bet you that you’re down for the rest of the year, Jay. Teasers lose at between a 13-15% clip.”
Yes, but not when experienced hands are at the wheel. If you find and exploit the mismatch, you move the odds in your favor and, of course, only bet the games that give you the best chance of winning. E.G. stay away from up-and-down teams like the NFC West. Who knows what the heck the Arizona cardinals are going to do from week to week. However…

Steelers straight up at BILLS – all the Steelers have to do is beat the hapless Bills…seems like a good chanjce of winning. Could they lose? Sure. But are the odds heavily in your favor? It’s likely.
Patriots -1 at LIONS. It can’t possibly be that the Pats will lose to both the Browns and Lions in one year, can it? Only if they don’t shore up that defense.
