Interesting analysis this week in our picks. There were ten games – all based on point spread, not over-under – that all attracted me…but each one I was looking at the road team.
And that set my Spider-sense tingling.
Did you know that from 1983-2008 home favorites only won at a 47.56% clip? Visiting underdogs win at a 49.75%. 2.70% of the time, the game is a push. So I was even more careful than normal this week…especially since I bet Gary Schultz lunch at L’Orange Bleu on this pick:

Falcons -1 at PANTHERS
If I lose this one – giving Gary the Fighting Norvs and the toothless cats – I’m not going to be amused.
RED LIGHT!
Even though I love these numbers I just don’t recommend this one that much…
Bengals +16.5 at STEELERS
Patriots +3.5 at BEARS
By the way…home underdogs win 50.70% of the time.
