Tony Korologos played golf with a prominent amateur who apparently has million-dollar talent but a ten-cent head. According to this story, a thief who stole frozen yogurt from a store actually bragged about it on Facebook. I told you it was a good time to bring back “Think B4 you Facebook something stupid!”
Tony and I will be teaming up the day after Thanksgiving for our annual Turkey Awards. We have quite a few nominees this year. Tiger, of course, but some argue that since his trouble began last year we’d be unfairly “grandfathering in” his scandal a second time – kinda like when Gwen Stefani and No Doubt kept winning Grammies for the same song, but I digress…
I used to pick just one winner, but I’ll do top ten style this year and pick a grand prize winner. Then since it’s the holidays, its Jazzy Awards season until New Years, when we go back out on golf travel tour.
Side Note: Jim Furyk – a great and genuine guy, an excellent interview, and a bright, well-read man – won the Player of the Year Award form the GWAA. I voted for Graeme McDowell this year.
