Roberto Alomar Accused of Having Unprotected Sex with Gal Pal, Putting her at risk for Aids

Move over Ronald Mexico, now the MLB spitter-in-chief, Roberto Alomar, has been named in a lawsuit by his former girlfriend for putting her at risk for AIDS without informing her he was infected.  From the Fox News article:

A $15 million lawsuit claims former Major League Baseball star Roberto Alomar had unprotected sex with a former girlfriend while he had AIDS, the New York Post reported.

Ilya Dall, of Queens, alleges in the suit filed in Brooklyn Federal Court that the 12-time All Star tested positive for HIV in 2006 and was later informed by a doctor that he had full-blown AIDS.

Dall, who says she tested negative for the disease, is claiming punitive damages for emotional distress, the Post reported.

Alomar, 41, who retired from baseball in 2005, began dating Dall in 2002, according to the suit, and began having unprotected sex with her a short time later, the Post reported.

Alomar told Dall in 2005 that he was once raped by two Mexican men after playing a ballgame in New Mexico, according to the lawsuit.

Dall’s suit does not claim Alomar knew he had AIDS when they were having unprotected sex, but he he had reason to think he was infected since doctors repeatedly advised him to get tested, the Post reports.”

All right, wait a minute… her story is Alomar told her he was raped by two Mexican men after a ball game in New Mexico, “or some southwestern state,” when he was seventeen.  The suit, (complaint here, hat tip NY Post), alleges he refused to have himself tested even though he developed cold sores and other symptoms, including fungi (plural of fungus people), on his mouth and throat.

This is even bigger than Michael Vick telling girls he was Ronald Mexico and then giving them venereal diseases.  First he spits on an ump in 1996, assuring the Orioles will get every call against them in the playoffs – remember Jeffrey Maier? – now this.

What a guy.  There’s just nothing like athletes who think they are entitled to everyone and owe no one any responsibility or accountability.  If these accusations are true, hang him high.

On second thought, hanging’s too good for him.
