I love and support our troops. I am proud of them and grateful for their sacrifice. Courage, honor, loyalty, fortitude, valor; is there a virtue they don’t possess?
I’m also proud of my country. I think more people should be proud of the country they’ve got, rather than pining for some utopian country they think they ought to have.
That’s why from now on, my Fridays are Red Fridays. Wear Red on Friday, everyone. The Red Friday movement is not a partisan issue…Red fridays are for anyone who wants to show support for our troops.
Tell our troops how grateful you are to have the freedom they lay down their lives to protect – no matter what your beliefs, race, ethnicity or individual choices. We are all Americans, people. This is one way we can all show a united front.
One of my favorites, Mary Katharine Ham, has more, particularly on how Southwest Airlines is supporting this idea. So fly Southwest whenever you can.
Come on sports fans! Give me a loud, lusty U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!
