Popular and effective PGA Tour caddie Steve Duplantis was killed in a strange traffic accident today when a passing taxi struck him as he crossed a divided median. Duplantis was 35. The Fox Sports article is here.
One PGA Tour source described Duplantis as “a good guy and a good caddie. He made all his guys play better, a rare feat for a caddie, but an important one. That’s why he was in high regard.”
