So the first AWITP trip of the year is scheduled for this week – SoCal. We’ll be playing and reviewing Gil Hanse’s work at the recently redesigned Soule Park, along with Olivas Links by Forrest Richardson, and another trip around Hanse’s superb Rustic Canyon. We’ll also have a SURPRISE round at one of SoCals excellent private designs.
It’ll be great to leave this ferocious winter behind for a while. Everyone keep warm while enjoying your cold weather Super Bowl. Outdoor hockey games and Super Bowls in January…What a stupid idea. You don’t see anyone clamoring for a cold weather U.S. Open, do you? Have fun burning your house for warmth. I’m getting a suntan…a well-deserved suntan.
