Happy Birthday to The Golf Space!

Tony Korologos before he and Jay get smeared by Jim Engh's design team
Tony Korologos before he and Jay get smeared by Jim Engh's design team in the inaugural Flemmapalooza rock vs. golf matches in 2007 at Pradera G.C. outside Denver. That's Tim Hartnett of Engh design in the background. Final score: Engh Design 4 BFS 1

With all the excitement of the Masters winding down, and the golf world having a fun, laid back, “me time” party at Hilton Head for the Heritage, I’m going to take the day off, and just thank Tony Korologos of The Golf Space for having the vision to run this network the way a great network of websites should be run.

Tony’s talent as a web designer and jazz/rock musician/producer is only surpassed as his virtue as a terrific guy.  He’s an integral part of the AWITP family, the Flemmapalooza golf events, and is one of the grande dames of golf blogging.  One of the originals, from back in the day when it was merely  Shackelford, myself, Rob Thompson, Eat Golf Golf Chick, the late, great Mike from Texas, (remember him guys?), Golfer’s Muse, and a mere handful of others, Tony K has been a tireless champion of bloggers’ rights and a great ambassador for both blogging and golf.

Happy Birthday Golf Space…and a thousand times thank you.  If you’re a blogger of any kind, not just golf, flock to Tony’s banner.  Golf girl!  Golf chick! come on over!  The water’s fine!
