
The International Skiing History Association will be hosting its annual Ski Week in Europe this year, with Lech, Austria selected as the epicenter. From the press release from ISHA:
“Our annual awards banquet, celebrating the year’s award-winning books and films (link to previous year’s ISHA award article) will be on April 12th, including a very special Lifetime Achievement Award. Yhe week will also include many events including skiing the infamous White Ring; a tour and reception at the Arlberg Museum; Doppelmayr headquarters tour and making international friends at The Sister’s Resorts event.
The annual US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame/ISHA Skiing History Week still takes place the week of March 20, 2026 in Ogden, Utah.For several years, the two organizations have dovetailed their events. Sources report the separation this year is a one-off.
