Tony K: Wear Red at Medinah for the Ryder Cup

Tony K will do the heavy lifting for me early this week for the Ryder Cup. He’s got this article about the “Red Out” planned for Sunday, wear everyone is…requested…to wear the same thing. It’s all part of a “13th Man” initiative to make the fans feel more a part of the event. Let’s hope it doesn’t boil over into some of the more unsavory and unsportsmanlike moments from prior cups. Having the fans get too involved leads to Jungle Bird moments:)

Although it’s just fine to “HOO-WAH HOO-WAH!” every time Webb makes a birdie:)

From the article:

“The PGA of America is inviting fans to participate in a “RED OUT” in support of the U.S. Ryder Cup team on Sunday, Sept. 30, the final day of the 39th Ryder Cup at Medinah (Ill.) Country Club.

Fans attending the Ryder Cup are encouraged to wear red clothing on Sunday at Medinah to show their patriotic pride, while fans watching from home are encouraged to the same.”
