Ryder Cup Update – U.S. 6 Europe 4, Europe Leads 6

From Golf Observer:

The conclusion of both the “first session” and “second session” went great for the Americans, who opened a 6-4 lead at Celtic Manor, but the third session of this long day was a different story. When darkness halted the proceedings, Europe held the lead in all six matches, which ranged from having four holes and nine holes completed, and they were up by at least two holes in four of them. Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker won their first two matches for the U.S., but both are losing big right now. Play is scheduled to resume at 7:45 a.m. with the conclusion of session three, followed by 12 singles matches, weather permitting (there is rain in the forecast). In particular, Hank Gola is interesting reading.

And Cybergolf has reports as well.
