It’s a bittersweet day for me today as my dear friends and awesome clients Bowling for Soup closed their farewell to the U.K. tour last night. It’s been a great run for me with them – 12 long, wonderful, fun-filled years. Sadly, I never saw a U.K. show – the place where they actually drew by far the largest crowds, upwards of 5,000 per night in beautiful theatres and ancient strongholds of rock. Boys, I know you have plenty of U.S. shows to come, but as for the U.K. it’s fare thee well, fare thee well, I love you more than words can tell. Thanks for making rock’n’roll dreams come true. few things compare to this awesomeness – unless, of course, it’s hanging out with you. Welcome to the Honor Roll, summa cum laude members, and first ballot all-stars.
