So the Jay Eats World (but not molecular gastronomy) Tour continues, this time in Bermuda for the Grand Slam of Golf at Port Royal, followed by rounds at and analysis of Tuckers Point and Mid-Ocean Club. This continues our offshore series covering golf in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and the Atlantic Ocean.
So far there’s Casa de Campo, and there’s everything else, but Mid-Ocean is expected to crash the party. Cabo had a string showing too, with golf growing steadily and solid courses by good designers being built. Tuckers Point was an old Charles “Steamshovel” Banks course which Roger Rulewich modified…we’ll see how much Banks is left.
So it’s Dark and Stormys, urban legends about the Triangle, and, hopefully, warm sunshine all day. Pass the Coppertone and Gosling’s.
