The European Tour will send Padraig Harrington, Justin Rose, Anders Hansen, Peter Hanse, Sergio Garcia and many other fine players to battle at Augusta, but the PGA Tour news is just all Tiger all the time. There are some other stories in golf, guys; and lets be honest, the season beigins in earnest at Augusta.

Here’s Sal Johnson with this week’s preview. Is “CA Championship” the worst named tournament at the PGA level. Do they even know what “CA” is?:) With a name like “The CA Championship” you actually to look up and cross-reference that it’s Doral, which is what we all call it. It’s one thing to have interchangeable sponsors, but the title should still retain the descriptive element of the course or region so fans know what tournament you mean. At the rate tournaments change over sponsors, the proposition has become dicey. Thank you, Tim Finchem.
