And as the shepherds lay guarding their flocks at night, an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and they were frightened. But he told them, “Fear not! For I bring you glad tiding sof great joy! Today, in the City of David, as savior is born!” And then suddenly a host of heavenly angels appeared and sang, “Glory to God in the highest. And on Earth, peace. Good will to all men.”
