Jay’s Plays NFL Picks – Week 14 Predictions and Bettor’s Guide

A 4-2 week overall, 2-1 in teasers leaves the season totals at a 40-15-1 overall, and a constantly improving 14-9-1 in teasers. With Ernesto the Prediction Iguana returning this week, it’s time to close the season with a sizzling hot streak. Here’s this week’s winners before they happen. As always we do 2-team teasers here, so you can move the line six points in either directions. We use the lines from www.vegasinsider.com, HOME TEAM IN CAPS.

BARKIN’ROAD DOGS!

raiders +9.5 at CHIEFS
broncos +7 at TITANS

Has anyone noticed that Andy Reid loses more at home than most Chiefs coaches? Arrowhead is supposed to be the hardest place to win in the NFL, yet lately the Chiefs have been pretty good, but not great enough. Oakland is in full ascension right now, especially on offense. Meanwhile the Titans aren’t fooling anybody, especially not the Broncos, who can win with my old Aunt Sally at quarterback…which is exactly what they’ve done when Peyton Manning hasn’t been available.

AMBER ALERT!

PATRIOTS -1 vs. ravens
falcons +1.5 at RAMS

Even without Gronkowski, the Ravens will have to play a perfect game against the Pats to beat them in Foxboro. They won’t. The Falcons excruciating loss last week will be easily wiped away with the lowly Rams next up. Matty Ice vs. a tattered secondary? Take the Dirty Birds and the points.

FUTURE NFC PLAYOFF TILT?

cowboys +3 at GIANTS
LIONS -2 vs bears

The Cowboys and the Lions are stirring echoes of days long past. Perhaps they might meet in the playoffs, maybe even the NFC title game. The Giants looked weak against a Pittsburgh team that still isn’t all that solid on defense. Home field advantage can’t protect them from Ezekiel Elliott. While the final three weeks of the season look tough for the Lions, Matthew Stafford will light up the Bears, possibly putting Detroit three games ahead of the Packers with three games to play.
