While everyone else was waxing beatifically about Jason Day passing Adam Scott in the World Rankings, Day also took the top spot on another list – he just became the new Vegas favorite to win the 2016 Masters.
Day has won seven of his last 14 starts internationally and has taken the last two PGA Tour events with more difficulty from this back than the field. He also won the last major of 2015 – the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits in dominant fashion, reducing the formerly unconquerable Straits course to a petting zoo.
