Golf Course Trades Runs my U.S. Open Road Trip Article

KEITH FOSTER’S BRILLIANT RESTORATION OF MORAINE IS ANOTHER IN HIS LONG LINE OF TERRIFIC WORK BRINGING BACK GOLDEN AGE GLORY

The folks over at Golf Course Trades did a terrific job publishing my U.S. Open Road trip article in their September issue. It was a great run: The Roc and Pheasant with Phil Furfari, Canterbury in Cleveland, where – among others – Jack Nicklaus made indelible major championship history, Keith Foster’s dazzling renovation of Moraine Country Club in Dayton, U.S. Ope venue Erin Hills, and the new Sand Valley resort course by Coore and Crenshaw.

“That looks like steak dinners every night,” broadcaster Steve Czaban used to say, and he’s right. Stay tuned next month when my Casa de Campo article comes out!
